Coordination of the cross-border association EURES-T Pannónia

Starting date: April 2009

Involving 27 Austrian and Hungarian partner organisations from the border areas in East Austria and West Hungary, the partnership EURES-T Pannónia was established on the 1st April, 2009. The partnership has set itself the task to provide information, advisory and consultancy opportunities and liaisoning for employers and employees in the region, thus contributing to the harmoni-sation of supply and demand on the labour market, and to help create a single labour market area.
The main activities of the Coordination Office include:
• liaisoning with the centres of the partner organisations,
• drawing the Partnership’s activities plan in line with the EURES priori-ties and requirements,
• tabling proposals on activities in line with the EURES principles,
• assisting partner organisations with sharing the responsibilities and tasks within the Association,
• reviewing and checking the accounts,
• preparing the meetings of the Steering Committee,
• regular checks of the quality of the basic services (EURES advisers),
• ensuring effective communication with other associations in the bor-der regions, and
• other coordination activities within the Partnership.
